We have the signed contract in hand from the City, have added 142 additional hay bales as added sound barriers just to err on the safe side, and will be doing a sound test 11/14 around Noon.
You are welcome to attend.
I expect that we will open on 11/20 at 11 AM. We *may* be able to speed that up just a little. Details Tuesday afternoon.
Oh it's hell to turn left, but me and Kraffty here are taking it on as our personal project. We're going to make it a super amazing dorifto karta :D I got a wheel to lift coming around one of the last turns hahahaha

Yeah you almost rolled the thing!!! Two wheels were at least 8" in the air.
As far as staying in the seat, drive with one hand like your a pimp and hang on the a rail with the other like your life depends on it . . . lean into the turns . . . and wa-la . . . go-cart drifting. One of the things we are going to soup up on the cart is the addition of a seat belt.
Someone needs to bring a video camera next time .... I say let's go for an "in cart" filming!
Does this go cart have a cage? I am only asking because I had a pretty sweet setup a few years back and my friend and I would drift the cart in our neighborhood around turns...It had a little power ha ha.. So anyways, we were getting slung around on that thing and decided to put a seatbelt on it. Well one day a friend of mine took a curve in it and where he would have been ejected...He was pinned under it. Took a curve to the left and hit some sand and it slid sideways as intended, but then hit some clean concrete while sideways and it stuck and flipped over. Instead of being thrown from the cart it rolled over on top of him and slid down the road. He took a trip to the hospital. Wasn't pretty. Seat belts are probably a bad idea, unless there is a cage on this cart.
