Who doesn't like some grass in your crack? I think I found it on Google Maps and oh my lord. Looks like drift heaven.

Here ya go...

The site is the large asphalt area in the bottom right.  Areas 1, 2, 3, and 4 could be wet track drift, dry track drift, autocross, and go-cart/shift-carts, mixed around as desired on an irregular basis.

Notice the 1,000 foot scale on the bottom left.  There are 5 significant buildings on-site, but only 3 are readily visible in this image.  One building contains an existing 75 foot long by 20 foot wide by 20 foot tall automotive paint booth.

Gas station, storage units (useful for keeping drift/race cars nearby), Hardees, and Blimpies all next door on this exit.

Area 5 might have more exotic or hybrid uses.

This was an old auto auction, so the areas where they kept the heavy equipment being auctioned off has crushed up asphalt.  Other areas are in better shape.  Most of the asphalt has grass growing through it due to *years* of non-use.

If you are traveling North on I-85, you start out above the site as you pass...giving you a spectacular view of drifting/autocross activity going on.

Next to the 4x4 area (dirt+gravel) is yet another paved area for parking. In fact, the *entrance* to this place is so vast that we could divide it up in a pinch for yet another (6th) automotive playground area.

*for a size comparison, the second picture is Turner Field where the Top of the Food Chain drift event is being held April 10th.

for the record South east drift only uses the top most, left lot, where you can see the tire marks, this place would be killer,

Oh yeah!  I didn't measure it off, but it looked as though SED had a 10 acre course today at Turner Field. Nice!

We'll be able to give them a course that size without making a dent in our other fun.

I say go bigger and better than Turner Field if you can afford to. The one thing that really makes everyone happy, from beginner to pro is the level of speed you can build up while still holding a large amount of complexity once you get through ripping through the gears.

If you can manage to get something on the level of Mineral Wells (80+ mile per hour entries) while still being able to have some challenging and technical driving attributes all in the same run, I think you'd find that your drivers develop faster than anywhere else.
