Tonights B.S.

You guys are cool as hell and I am glad you got the place set up and allowed us to come out and play. Clint, thanks for giving my money back right away and understanding why I was a little angry. I drove a long way and spent my Saturday night and lots of gas coming up there and right before I run the cops shut it down. I dont see why they are going to shut the place down when all the city counsel meetings have already taken place and been approved, the people who were complaining should have gone to those meeting and kept it from being passed in the first place but I guess they said nothing therefor the place opened. I do not complain when I hear the local rednecks yelling at a football game up the street, why complain when you hear me enjoying my hobby? Seemed like a nicely run place and I definitely felt at home there.  But if they want us to drift on the street again then ok, U-drift is the only place to do it in Alabama. Im glad drifter took the time and effort to make this happen and I hope you guys will be opened back up soon cause I have a lot of customers for you. Hope we can fix this problem soon and have a legal place to do it cause we have no legal place in the state and if the only place is the street i can assure you it will take place on the street and obviously that is not safe...

My rant is over, i feel better now.

And for the kid who told me this is not a drag strip:

think before you speak, you will look much more educated.

i didn't get to see you run, but im sure you did fine :) saw you in line infront of my buddy eating cones in his civic lol.

hell i was running the course in an evo, i didn't drift and i had no angle... but you know what? i had fun and as for the other racers im sure they did too. no one showed any remarkable skill [no offense] (last run on the white 240 was nice), but that's not what this place is about.

i doubt anyone actually called and complained either. the cops where sitting right across the street for the majority of the time and i honestly feel they just were just waiting for the right moment to show their asses. it's a shame really disbelief

i hope the next meeting goes well for chris and everyone involved in ud. i think this is just what alabama needs. the pricing is by far reasonable and everyone was friendly and uplifted and that's very hard to find these days.

edit: btw, im not the one who said that to you :)

LOL its cool man, i do not know if he was playing or what but its all fun and games out there. Its fun to talk some trash at the track! And yes its all about having a good time! And I had a word with one of the cops, i don't know if it made it through his head. I think he had one too many doughnuts and just wanted to go sleep LOL. And i don't think having like 20 cops up there was necessary, people are out there dying and getting robbed and they are worried about us why??? We make a little noise but we keep it under the legal limit, the place is VERY fair and upfront people! I loved the service I received at U-drift and will be right behind you guys if you open back up. I will pack the lot with cars if you want.

If the police intentionally did this they are making a huge mistake. But I thought it was great tonight. I will be returning as soon as everything gets going again.

Dont get me wrong, I`m all for dramatic effect and I understand your feelings but (especially when put into perspective of how quickly things got cut off) everytime you held the brakes at the starting line I was thinking "Come on! Go!" I wanted to see action in motion. Indeed it was a great preview of what I hope is more to come but we`ll just have to see how things pan out.
