Terry's Build - Part 2 - Engine

I've been looking at different options and had decided on stroking a 350.  Bought a 4-bolt block, tore it down and took it to the machine shop.

After running some figures, I wasn't happy with what I was getting with all the cash I would be dropping.

I have now picked up a partially completed motor

Man... it's been awhile since I put together an engine.

Pricey...

I don't think I thought this through all the way.no

I spent about two full days talking on the phone to people.  Was able to locate the guy who built the block - he was very helpful.  Oh, he was in Iowa.... nice.

I've been trying to find out information and trying to source out parts for my power adder. It has become quite a challenge. I have a few parts coming from the Blower Shop in Cali and I spent some time with Holley, Dyers and Dean Blowers.

Here's the pictures:

Head Mission - After speaking with the builder again, The Blower SHop and AFR. I have decided to go with AFR's 75cc Combustion Chamber 195cc intake runner. The valves are much larger than I have used in the past at 2.05 intake and 1.60 exhaust.

And yes, these are going to be painful to the pocket.

No not this time... However, I am planning on going over for the event.  Looks like we might have a good size group coming over to watch.
